Darren began to feel dizzy after completing 140 laps of the track, falling just four hours short of his personal target of 24 hours. Darren managed to raise £365 for the charity, with the total being raised to £500 thanks to a contribution from Fantasy Island.

Millennium Back Up and Running

Itís a little sooner than we expected but the ride has now reopened and does seem to be once again running reliably. The park have confirmed to us that this was an issue with the tires placed within the station track that are used to force the train out of the station and onto the lift. These have been required to be replaced since the start of the season however that minor 3 month technical glitch with Odyssey that caused two rollbacks caused this to be postponed.

Millennium Coaster Downtime

This yearís downtime has indeed already taken its toll, however it seems we are not done yet; Millennium Coaster has decided to give us a trial this summer. The ride which has already been closed for over a week is now confirmed to be down for the remainder of the summer.

The cause of this technical glitch is as yet unknown; however we can confirm that the rides train has been pushed out of the station onto the break run which hints that the station or mechanisms are be at fault.
