Wristband Reservations

Wristband Reservations

Wristbands can now be reserved via the brand new Fantasy Island website. Prices range from 5 to 16 for children, and 10 to 22 for adults, depending on the point in the season. Eventually, we're promised that the site will allow guests to buy rather than reserve wristbands for collection, but until then guests are only required to enter a few personal details to be eligible for the discounted online prices.

With the launch of wristbands, no more tokens will be sold by the park. However, any tokens purchased previously will still be accepted throughout the 2009 season. There is still a pay per ride option available, with prices ranging between 1 and 3 per ride depending on the ride type. More information can be found on our updated price guide. Remember to check out the rest of our trip planning pages before your visit.

Updated: Wristbands Ready for Easter

Updated: Wristbands Ready for Easter

From this Saturday, Fantasy Island will now begin opening on a daily basis throughout the main season. The wristband system is all ready to go as planned, offering guests discounts for unlimited rides. Tokens will no longer be sold, but replaced instead with 'live tickets' which can be topped up as a pay per ride solution.

Jubilee Odyssey stalled on the cobra roll element, only two weeks ago. The park have confirmed that they winched the train backwards, and removed the train manually from the bottom of the loop. The train has since been reassembled and tested, but is now being fitted with new wheels. Hopefully, it will be ready to reopen over the Easter weekend.

Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the park's S&S rides, Absolutely Insane and Volcanic Impact, which will remain closed as they are still awaiting inspection from their American ride manufacturers. All other rides on park are expected to be operating this weekend though, but remember to check out our helpful trip planning pages before you visit.

News for April Fools

As you may have noticed a story regarding a shark being spotted off the coast of Ingoldmells this morning, we'd like to reassure you that this was, in fact, an April Fools prank. Furthermore, there are currently no plans that we are aware of to build a Sea Life centre in nearby Skegness.

Wristband Pricing Finalised

Wristband Pricing Finalised

Last month, we brought you exclusive news about the park launching their own wristband scheme; something that has been on the cards for some time. A pricing structure has now been finalised, with childrens wristbands (up to the age of 11) being 6-16, and 12-22 for adults aged 12 years and over. During the main season, wristbands will be 11 and 17. Wristbands will be cheaper when pre-ordered online to be collected at a reservation desk on park. Alternatively, for customers who choose not to purchase wristbands, the park plan to continue a voucher scheme for their "live ticket " system. However, details for this are yet to be finalised. The scheme is set to be implemented on April 4th.

A limited selection of rides open this weekend, with more opening each weekend. Rides such as Millennium and Odyssey are expected to reopen toward the end of March. The park is open for weekends only until Easter. For a roundup of what else to expect at the park this season, check out our 'what's new' feature.

Will you be purchasing a wristband or trying out the 'live ticket' system. Share your thoughts and feelings on our forums.
